Composite decking for architects & specifiers.
EPD, ISO, slip and fire classifications, CAD details and samples — everything you need to specify Tarimatec decking, cladding and louvre systems in Canada.
Verified, not asserted.
Tecnalia-verified EPD (Environdec S-P-07588), ISO 9001 & 14001 (AENOR), a GBCe environmental product sheet, CE, and contributions toward LEED, BREEAM and VERDE credits. Full technical data — flexural strength, Brinell hardness, slip (UNE-ENV 12633), reaction-to-fire (EN 13501-1), water absorption and thermal performance — is available on request.
The specifier toolkit.
EPD & certifications
Tecnalia-verified EPD (Environdec S-P-07588), ISO 9001 / 14001, CE marking and green-building credit pathways for LEED, BREEAM and VERDE.
Technical data sheets
Full spec, slip and fire classifications for deck and cladding.
CAD & install details
Sub-frame, fixing and edge details ready to drop into drawings.
Samples & colour decks
Physical swatches and the 31-colour Designer Kit for client meetings.
Deck, façade and louvre — one material.
Specify a coordinated envelope from one manufacturer: Tarimatec decking (Hollow / Solid, 31 colours), ventilated façade cladding (Montblanc, Annapurna, Aris, Malibú), and the AXEL rotating louvre — colour-matched, one warranty.
European classifications. For CAN/ULC or ASTM data on a specific Canadian project, contact our specification team.
Specified across sectors.
Tarimatec is engineered for the surfaces architects worry about most — wet, high-traffic and rooftop conditions. Class 3 / R11 slip resistance (UNE-ENV 12633) and low water absorption (0.59% hollow, 0.38% solid, tested to EN 317) make it a considered choice from pool surrounds to ventilated façades. Explore the full Tarimatec system, or go straight to composite decking and cladding.
Nobu, Hard Rock & Iberostar
Pool decks, spas and rooftops that hold colour under sun, salt and heavy footfall.
Roof-classified decks
Euroclass B-roof(t1) over a concealed aluminium sub-frame.
One material, one warranty
Deck, façade and louvre coordinated across balconies and amenity decks.
Slip-classed pool surrounds
Top pedestrian slip class and low moisture uptake where wood-fibre composites swell.→
Questions specifiers ask.
What certifications does Tarimatec carry?
Tarimatec holds a Tecnalia-verified EPD (Environdec S-P-07588), ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (AENOR), a GBCe environmental product sheet and CE marking. It contributes toward LEED, BREEAM and VERDE credits. Full documentation is in the specifier pack.
What are the slip and fire classifications?
Class 3 / R11 slip resistance (UNE-ENV 12633) — the top pedestrian class — and a Euroclass Bfl-s1 reaction-to-fire rating with Broof(t1) for roofs (EN 13501-1). These are European classifications; for CAN/ULC or ASTM data on a Canadian project, contact our specification team.
Is Tarimatec fire-rated for Canadian building codes?
Tarimatec is classified to European standards (Euroclass Bfl-s1, EN 13501-1) rather than CAN/ULC. For projects requiring Canadian code or ASTM fire data, contact our specification team early so we can support the submittal.
What is Tarimatec made of?
A mineral-rich composite called Ecofiber-Stone — rice-husk fibre, crushed limestone and PVC — not a wood-plastic composite. There is no solid timber, so the boards will not rot, warp or feed mould, and they are 100% recyclable at end of life. See sustainability and the EPD.
Are CAD and installation details available?
Yes. Sub-frame, fixing and edge details for decking and cladding are provided on request for drawings and submittals, alongside data sheets and physical samples. See the installation overview.
Can Tarimatec contribute to LEED or BREEAM?
Its Tecnalia-verified EPD and rapidly-renewable rice-husk content can contribute toward LEED, BREEAM and VERDE credits for materials transparency and environmental product declarations on Canadian projects. We do not assign a fixed point count — credits depend on the project and rating system.
