Is Tarimatec suitable for pool decks and wet areas?
Yes. Tarimatec carries Class 3 (R11) slip resistance under UNE-ENV 12633 — the top pedestrian slip class — with low water absorption and a surface that does not rot, splinter or feed mould. It is used for pool surrounds, spas, showers and other high-traffic wet areas in hospitality projects.

What is Tarimatec made of?
Tarimatec is a stone composite — a distinct category from standard wood-plastic composite (WPC). Its Ecofiber-Stone material combines rice-husk fibre and crushed limestone bound in a mineral-polymer matrix, with no solid timber. The board is 100% recyclable at end of life.
Is Tarimatec fire-rated for commercial projects?
Tarimatec carries a Euroclass Bfl-s1 reaction-to-fire classification (EN 13501-1) and Broof(t1) for roofs. These are European classifications; for Canadian commercial fire and building-code data (CAN/ULC, ASTM), contact our specification team for project-specific documentation.
