Niloofar Kalashi

Founder, CEO

As an architect, I completed my graduate studies in Spain, A place leading innovation in architecture, construction, and building materials.

Over the years, I have gained extensive teaching and research experience in construction materials and building systems. I am well-versed in Spain’s long-standing tradition of producing innovative, high-quality, and sustainable building products.

Since relocating to Canada in 2014, I have actively contributed to the construction industry while maintaining strong professional connections with Spain. I regularly attend and engage in leading architectural and materials innovation events to stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies.

During a visit to a major building exhibition in 2024, I discovered an innovative material that immediately captured my attention. This material is produced entirely in Spain, using recycled rice husk sourced locally as a byproduct of rice production in the region. The climate and environmental conditions of Spain have shaped its development, making it a sustainable, eco-friendly, and high-quality building product. Given Spain’s reputation for quality and sustainability, I was confident this product would perform exceptionally well in Canada’s unique climate and demanding construction environment.

Durable, Eco-Friendly Wood Alternative

This material is engineered to endure extreme temperature fluctuations—often reaching up to 45 degrees Celsius in many parts of Canada—as well as intense heat and direct sunlight, all without compromising its structural integrity. It is fully biodegradable and comes with a 25-years warranty, underscoring its durability and eco-friendliness.

In today’s construction industry, sustainability is essential. This material offers a compelling alternative to traditional wood. It requires significantly less maintenance and helps preserve natural timber resources, reducing deforestation. Having worked extensively on wood design and construction projects in Canada, I understand the need for durable, eco-friendly materials that can withstand Canada’s diverse climates. This innovative product respects the natural environment and promises to be a sustainable substitute for wood in modern construction.

Leading Sustainable Innovation

I am passionate about leading the introduction of this advanced material to the Canadian market. My goal is to empower builders and developers to leverage its benefits, delivering durable, sustainable, and innovative building solutions.
