Tarimatec composite decking carries a 25-year manufacturer warranty. Zinodeck administers that warranty in Canada: we take the claim, document it, and file it with the manufacturer on your behalf.

What it covers
In plain terms, the warranty covers manufacturing defects in the board under normal outdoor residential use:
- Material integrity of the board.
- Resistance to rot and fungal attack — the material is classified as not attackable by basidiomycetes or soft rot (UNE-ENV 12038 / CEN/TS 15083-2).
- Colour performance under normal outdoor residential use.

What it does not cover
Damage caused by weight overload is expressly excluded.
The following are normal or expected in service and are not defects:
- Surface staining from ordinary use.
- Water and lime marks — see the Care & Cleaning guide. These are normal in this type of material, do not affect the quality of the profile, and are not defects.
- Damage arising from an installation that departs from the Tarimatec installation manual.
- Damage from acetone, strong acids, silicones or paints, to which Tarimatec is not resistant.
How to make a claim
- Contact Zinodeck at info@zinodeck.com or +1 647-558-0018 with your order reference, the install date, photographs, and the deck location.
- Zinodeck reviews and documents the claim.
- Zinodeck files the claim with the manufacturer — Plásticos Viters / Tarimatec, Valencia, Spain — on your behalf.
- Zinodeck communicates the manufacturer's determination and coordinates any remedy in Canada.
What to have ready
Order reference · install date · photographs of the affected boards and the wider deck · the deck location. Claims move faster when the installation details — joist spacing, clip type, end gaps — are supplied with the photographs.
